Rosso Piceno Superiore Brecciarolo from Velenosi comes from vineyards located in the municipalities of Offida and Ascoli Piceno.
It is produced 70% with Montepulciano grapes and 30% with Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand in mid-October. After destemming, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks with daily pumping over at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in second passage barriques, coming from the vinification of Roggio del Filare, at controlled temperature, before being bottled.
Brecciarolo is characterized by a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is intense, with strong hints of red fruits enriched with delicate floral aromas of fresh violets, accompanied by pleasant spicy notes of vanilla. On the palate it is persistent, warm, full-bodied and harmonious.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with roasts, game, stews and aged cheeses.
