The 2019 La Jota WS Keyes Vineyard Merlot is a powerful Howell Mountain wine with deep aromas of plum, blackberry, licorice, dried herbs, and graphite. The palate is rich and full-bodied with layers of raspberry, dark chocolate, espresso, and crushed stone supported by vibrant acidity and firm, polished tannins. Aged nearly two years in mostly new French oak, it shows mountain intensity and elegant structure. The finish is long and mineral-driven with notes of earth and spice.
