Grown on blue slate on the Moselle and red slate on the Saar, the Schiefer Riesling is the perfect representative of our vineyard, which stretches from Piesport on the Moselle to Ockfen on the Saar. The nose is already captivating with its herbaceous and spicy characteristics, which continue on the palate and merge with numerous aromas of yellow stone fruit and pome fruit. The fascination of this Moselle wine lies precisely in this combination of fruit and heartiness, which presents intense aromas in an elegant, mineral-animating body. Add refined salads, grilled dishes, spicy stews, vegetable casseroles or pasta and risotto dishes and the moment is perfect.
